You will have excellent organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail and solid IT skills to ensure the home’s administrative processes are streamlined and effective. You’ll have great interpersonal skills and enjoy being the first person to greet visitors, families and loved ones to the Home; and be a go-to person for general enquiries. A friendly sociable personality coupled with empathy and compassion for the elderly will make you a perfect fit for this client-centred “front of house” role. Some of your duties will include but not be limited to: Coordinate and manage rostering for up to 250 employees on shift Assisting with new admissions to the home Liaising with the Residential Manager when vacancies occur to ascertain type of Resident required Maintenance of various computer data bases Reception duties – face to face and over the phone Maintaining staff personal records including registrations and certificates What will you bring to the role? Experience working in a rostering role within Aged Care or Health care setting (desired) Understanding of staff rosters Administrative and reception experience Excellent written, oral and numerical skills Problem solving skills and ability to prioritise tasks Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people High level information technology skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Who is Southern Cross Care Queensland?
