Description The Senior Contract Manager will be responsible for leading the full lifecycle of complex commercial contracts, from drafting and negotiation to execution and ongoing oversight. This role ensures that all procurement agreements are aligned with the organisation's strategic sourcing and supplier management frameworks, while driving compliance, value, and performance. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in contract law, a solid supply chain and procurement background, and exceptional negotiation skills. A proven ability to manage high-value, high-impact contracts is essential. This position plays a key role in supporting business operations by ensuring cost-effective procurement, minimising risk, and strengthening supplier relationships. Key Accountabilities: Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and finalization of contracts with clients, vendors, and third-party partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Monitor contract execution and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues or disputes to minimize risk and disruption. Prepare detailed reports on contract performance, risk exposure, and compliance for senior leadership. Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks and liabilities through strategic analysis and collaboration with legal and business teams. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders- including finance, operations, and procurement—to ensure contract terms support broader organizational goals. Facilitate clear and effective communication with clients and suppliers to ensure mutual understanding and adherence to contractual obligations. Ensure all contracts are compliant with applicable legal, regulatory, and corporate policy standards. Continuously monitor changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to inform contract strategy and maintain compliance. Qualifications, Experience and Skills Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of extensive experience in contract management, including leadership of high-value and complex contractual agreements. Comprehensive knowledge of contract law, legal frameworks, and key contractual terminology. Demonstrated expertise in supply chain operations and procurement processes , with a strategic approach to sourcing and vendor management. Extensive experience in contract negotiation , with a proven ability to secure favorable terms and mitigate risk. Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders. Proven leadership and team management experience , with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills , with a focus on detail, accuracy, and compliance. Recognized for a high standard of negotiation capabilities and the ability to resolve complex issues with clarity and precision.
