We are on the lookout for energetic, safety-conscious, and fun-loving individuals to join our team as Casual Lifeguards. If you're passionate about water safety and love soaking up the sun, this is your chance to turn your summer into something extraordinary! We're seeking casual Lifeguards to help us keep our pools safe this summer. Whether you’re already qualified or just getting started, we want to hear from you! If you do not have your certificate yet, don’t worry — we welcome applicants who are ready to get qualified soon, and we’ll set you up with the training and support you need to succeed. Job Description Reporting to the Aquatic Operations Coordinator, our Lifeguards are responsible for supervising the aquatic environment and ensuring that patrons always remain safe. Supervise pools in accordance with the deployment plan at AquaPulse and Werribee Outdoor Pool Operate and supervise the 2 giant water slides and aqua play area at AquaPulse Respond efficiently to any incidents (medical or customer related) Reporting of incidents and hazards Ensure high levels of cleanliness and tidiness in and around each pool Assist in pool set up / pack up requirements Desired Skills and Experience Personal Attributes Conflict resolution skills Practised and efficient communication skills with culturally and linguistically diverse communities Commitment to safety, service and innovation Ability to identify and raise possible hazards and risks within aquatic facility Efficient decision making and ability to perform dynamic risk assessments with the highest safety standards in mind Skills and Experience It is preferred to hold the following skills, experience, and qualifications, or with a willingness to obtain if not already qualified: Confidence to enforce appropriate behaviour standards of guests Communicate in a friendly and professional manner Pool Lifeguard qualification Current Provide First Aid Certificate Current Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Capable of completing a rescue and recovery to a depth of 2.1m (a test on this will be provided prior to employment) Clearance from a Working with Children Check - Employee and National Police Check (Fit 2 Work) or willingness to obtain Don’t miss the opportunity to join an amazing team and work at an amazing aquatic facility!
