We are looking for experienced Chefs & Cooks to join our client with operations based out of Hobart, and St Helens Tasmania. The positions are full time with a yearly salary of $60-$80K Depending on position & experience. In this hands on roles, the chosen candidates must: Ensure food preparation and quality is of the highest standard possible Manage stock levels and follow company procedures and recipe guide lines Ensure hygiene is maintained to the required standards Maintain a clean and organised kitchen during and after service Assist the head chef in cost control and assist in ensuring budgeted profit and targets are met Able to work unsupervised and harmoniously with the rest of the brigade To be successful for this role you will possess the following: At least 1-Year of relevant employment experience is required in prep and a la carte essential (Lunch & Dinner) Appropriate trade qualifications Experience in fast paced, service and quality focused venues Guest orientated and passionate about food Sound knowledge of food hygiene practices The ability to work well under pressure with an eye for detail Excellent interpersonal skills, relatively good English communication skills Possess a positive attitude and work well as a part of the team IMMEDIATE START!
