This Industry leader offers an empowering an innovative company culture. We have (12-Month Contract) Project Manager – Capability Governance & Controls role. This is targeting a Telco Project Manager experienced in managing & governing the introduction of new Network capability into deployment . You will also require an understanding of Transit (FTTP / DWDM) technology. You will be an integral part of a team working with stakeholders across Network Capacity & Performance (NCP), Network Engineering, as well as Broader cross business stakeholder groups, to ensure governance of key Transit Capability readiness works. Responsibilities : Establishing robust governance reporting to enable strong monitoring and controls across Capability readiness and cross business enablement. Ensuring full E2E view of all dependencies and milestones. Engage with, and review progress of capability readiness. Determine potential impacts due to time/cost/quality to ensure communication of impacts to business case / requirements, planning, systems & tools, deploy-ability, and broader operational readiness/constraints. End to End Workstream Management – developing, leading, and overseeing the delivery of capabilities that support specific Transit workstream roadmaps and business objectives; inputting into decision making and strategy development. Influence and collaborate with Senior and Executive level Management, working closely with a broad range of individuals and teams across the organisation to establish clear end-to-end view of cross-functional processes, deliver new / improved operational process, and establish interlocks between all relevant business units requiring input into the capability delivery. Drive Process/System/Tool development to support E2E scale trigger to deployment Essential Skills & Experience Required : Telco Experience (Essential) Experience in Transit FTTP / DWDM technology (Essential) Experience managing & governing introduction of new Network capability into deployment (Essential) 5-7 years’ experience in Project/Program Management Recognised certification as a Project Manager (e.g. Prince2; PMBOK; or equivalent) Working knowledge of Agile methodology (certification not required) Deep understanding of project concepts & principles, products and tools and significant experience in managing complex business projects or business improvement projects for large service providers, utilities and government customers ideally in the telecommunications sector. Experienced in process reengineering/business improvement/change management; Able to analyse complex problems and come up with innovative and appropriate solutions.
