The Retail Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service station, managing staff, ensuring high standards of customer service, inventory control, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and supervise daily store operations, including fuel, shop, and food service areas Lead, train, and motivate a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional service Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of stock to meet demand Implement promotional strategies to maximise sales and profitability Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, and company policies Maintain financial records, prepare sales reports, and manage budgets Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and head office management Skills and Experience Required: Minimum 1 years' experience in a retail management role, preferably in a service station or similar retail environment Strong leadership and organisational skills Proven ability to manage staff rosters and stock control Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficient in POS systems and basic Microsoft Office applications Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays Qualifications: AQF Diploma or higher qualification in business management or a related field (or equivalent work experience) Benefits: Competitive salary package Long-term career growth opportunities Supportive work environment with ongoing training
