Flexible Shift Options: Choose from full-time/ Part-time shifts 7am–3pm 3pm–11pm 11pm–7am 9am–3pm (Floating PCW) Your Responsibilities: Deliver compassionate, person-centred care to older people living with behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia. Support residents’ daily living activities in alignment with personalised care plans, cultural preferences, and family needs. Observe and report to clinical staff on residents' health and functional changes. Promote independence and rehabilitation-focused care. Actively contribute to care planning, quality improvement, and continuous learning. What You Bring: Essential: Must have Cert IV in Ageing Support Experience in residential aged care Knowledge and experience in dementia care Current National Police Certificate Understanding of behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD) Desirable: Previous experience in a Specialist Dementia Care Program (SDCP) About the Unit: Our new Specialist Dementia Care Unit is designed to support older individuals living with more complex dementia-related needs. The focus is on stabilisation, intensive person-centred support, and transition planning — all delivered in a warm, purpose-built environment.
