Program Governance and Reporting Officer | ASAP Start | Contract to 31/12/2025 Sydney CBD $600–$700/day super Contract to 31/12/2025 | 40 hours/week A NSW Government department is seeking a Program Governance and Reporting Officer to support the delivery of program governance, strategic initiatives and stakeholder engagement within a large-scale program environment. This role sits within a central enablement function and is responsible for coordinating governance activity, supporting decision-making processes and maintaining program documentation and reporting. Key Responsibilities: Manage the program governance calendar, including scheduling committees and preparing agendas and materials Perform secretariat duties including minute-taking, action-tracking and follow-up communications Maintain governance documentation and registers on SharePoint Support the delivery of governance improvement projects and process refinement Conduct research and analysis to support reporting and governance decision-making Collaborate with program teams to embed governance practices across workstreams Build relationships with key stakeholders and provide governance guidance and escalation support About You: Experienced in program, project or corporate governance in complex environments Strong understanding of public sector governance frameworks and processes Skilled in written communication and able to prepare high-quality reports and presentations Analytical, with the ability to interpret and present data to support decision-making Exceptional attention to detail across documentation and version control Able to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel Experience in PMO, project support or policy-related roles will be highly regarded This is a great opportunity for a governance-focused professional to contribute to high-level program oversight and support delivery across a major NSW Government initiative.
