Social Worker - Locum | Mount Isa | QLD Job Description: Medacs Healthcare is seeking an experienced Social Worker for a short-term locum opportunity in Mount Isa, QLD. This 4-week backfill role runs from 7 July to 1 August 2025 , working Monday to Friday, 0800-1630 (7.5 hours/day with 1-hour unpaid break). You'll be part of a team of three inpatient social workers, including specialist Senior Social Workers, covering Maternal Health and Renal workloads . The caseload includes adult and paediatric inpatient wards, ED, and outpatient services , with flexibility based on your experience. Requirements: Must hold a recognised Social Work or other relevant degree level qualification Minimum 3 years' experience as a Social Worker Recent hospital experience essential Experience in child protection and domestic violence highly desirable Benefits: Accommodation provided for the duration of the contract Up to $1000 (incl.
