This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly structured payroll team and contribute to a key system implementation project. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY This is a temporary Payroll Officer position with full-time hours (35 hours per week) and the potential for permanency. You will play a key role in ensuring the seamless processing of payroll within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Offering flexibility, this role can be performed in a hybrid capacity (2-3 days in office) or fully on-site based on your preference. Key Responsibilities: End-to-end payroll processing for a large workforce Managing termination payments & ETPs Ensuring compliance with payroll policies and relevant legislation Processing various leave types, deductions, and adjustments Utilising HRIS payroll systems to maintain accurate records and reporting Responding to employee payroll queries and providing timely support Assisting in the implementation of a new payroll system ABOUT YOU To excel in this role, you will have: 5 years' experience in payroll within a large organisation Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, legislation, and awards Experience working with Microsoft Excel and payroll systems Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the payroll team This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a well-established team and contribute to a high-impact project.
