The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Customer Projects Manager to undertake an Advanced Diploma of ESI – Power Systems over a four-year program which will enable you to obtain industry skills and knowledge under the supervision of qualified and experienced professionals, while also attending TAFE to complete your certification. The location for this traineeship will be based in Glen Waverley. During the program, you will be a valued member of our team and will experience a variety of work environments within the electricity supply industry which will enhance your skills and career development opportunities. What You’ll Be Doing Develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of all electrical supply policies, VESI Standards and industry governing regulations Listen, interpret, gather information and select the most appropriate method of communication Ensure the customer scope is adequately defined Plan and coordinate electrical overhead and underground construction works associated with customer requirements Identify and manage community consultation requirements Ensure that customer complaints are managed in a timely manner Ensure all sub-contractors are adequately inducted on site and have all necessary Victorian Electricity Supply Industry competencies What We’re Looking For This is an exciting time for our industry and we would love to be able to share this journey with someone who is committed and eager to learn. When you complete the program successfully, you will have completed all competencies for an Advanced Diploma of ESI – Power Systems. To be considered for this role you will have: Previous experience / background in the electricity industry will benefit your application but is not essential A customer service background is also strongly beneficial Well-developed verbal, interpersonal, communication, facilitation and negotiation skills Ability to handle difficult situations and prioritise workloads Either have a current drivers licence or have obtained a drivers licence by January 2026 Why Choose Zinfra?
