The key duties of the position include The Role We're looking for an experienced Knowledge Manager to join the Sexual Misconduct and Response Office (SeMPRO) - a small but high-impact team working to reduce and prevent sexual misconduct in Defence. You will lead strategic planning and improvement activities in relation to the outcomes of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide, support key projects and products, and report directly to senior leaders on the health and performance of our initiatives. You will also play a leadership role across our program, supporting coordination, planning, and decision-making across multiple work areas. In this role, you will: Provide advice and support across projects and monthly product reviews. Develop and track key performance and risk indicators (KPIs and KRIs). Report to senior leaders with insights, risks, and improvement ideas. Contribute to long-term planning for SeMPRO's strategic direction. Coordinate Program Board reviews and follow up on actions. About our Team The Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response Office (SeMPRO) is a dedicated team within Defence that works to prevent and respond to sexual misconduct. Established in 2013, SeMPRO is central to Defence's efforts to create a safer and more respectful workplace culture. We encourage reporting, help-seeking and prevention of sexual misconduct. Our main goal is to support people affected by sexual misconduct and to help prevent it from happening in Defence workplaces. We take a person-centred, trauma-informed approach to all our work.
