Head of Safety and Quality - Based in Canberra Link Airways and Corporate Air provide airline and air charter services to customers in eastern and southern Australia. We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Head of Safety and Quality to lead our Canberra -based Safety and Quality Department. This key organisational role, reporting to the CEO, will involve leading and facilitating the use of the company's safety management and quality systems, ensuring adherence to regulatory and legislative frameworks. We are looking for: Demonstrated experience in a senior safety role within a complex regulated and legislative environment. 5 years’ aviation safety experience and/or IOSA program experience is highly desirable. Postgraduate qualification in Aviation Management or Aviation Safety Management is desirable. Ability to meet CASA requirements for a Safety Manager approval under CASR 119/138/142/145. Experience in developing and implementing safety, quality, risk, and compliance systems. Experience driving change programs in an aviation operating environment. Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally. Ability to analyse and balance technical solutions with business processes and priorities. Negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Willingness and ability to travel domestically when required. This role includes managing a small team of safety and quality specialists.
