The Grounds Attendant Team Leader will assist the Grounds Supervisor to successfully implement, maintain and upkeep all garden and landscape areas within the parks, working closely with the team. Applicants must satisfy the following criteria: Demonstrate well developed communication & teamwork skills Possess a high level of energy and physical fitness A current Driver’s Licence Previous experience within horticulture/landscaping environment Experience in grounds operations Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to motivate team members Ability to operate independently and exercise sound judgement. This position requires physical stamina and involves manual handling tasks. Work hours will include early morning shifts. Duties include: Maintaining lawns, gardens and landscaped areas to a high standard. Pruning, weeding and mulching to keep the grounds in excellent condition. Operating garden equipment such as mowers, hedgers, whipper snippers and blowers. Identifying and addressing any pest and disease issues.
