As part of a broader ICT uplift initiative, they are executing several high-priority infrastructure projects and transitioning a major service provider. This is a fast-paced and technically complex environment requiring the leadership of a Program Director. The role sits within a transformative program aimed at modernising core digital infrastructure and service capabilities. This includes major undertakings such as: Relocation of a large-scale enterprise data centre Remediation and upgrade of ICT communication rooms across key facilities State-wide deployment of enterprise-grade network and Wi-Fi Migration of observability platforms and uplift of mobile duress systems This is an exciting opportunity for a capable and experienced professional to make a meaningful impact in a complex and highly visible program. Role Responsibilities Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the Program Director will provide strategic leadership and technical direction for the planning, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of the technical solution and associated systems. The role requires the ability to drive alignment with the broader digital transformation strategy while managing a multidisciplinary team and engaging key stakeholders at all levels. Key responsibilities include: Leading the end-to-end delivery of the program, ensuring it aligns with the overarching transformation vision. Managing, mentoring, and developing a high-performing program team. Overseeing the planning, development, system integration, testing, and deployment. Ensuring stakeholder engagement, including representation on organisational committees and with external partners. Driving innovation and continuous improvement through the application of best practices in quality reporting, enterprise application integration, and clinical system design. Supporting training initiatives to ensure clinical and non-clinical stakeholders are well-prepared for technology adoption. Establishing service management metrics, policies, and procedures to support effective and consistent delivery of digital services. Leading governance and investment prioritisation processes, including ranking of strategic capital requests and performance monitoring. Providing executive-level oversight and risk management across all related projects. Staying abreast of emerging technologies and assessing their potential impact on program outcomes. Required Experience Minimum 10 years of combined experience in technology and clinical settings Proven experience leading large-scale digital implementations in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Deep understanding of clinical content products and their integration into service delivery. Demonstrated ability in program and project management, systems analysis, stakeholder consultation, and strategic oversight. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of successfully leading diverse teams and managing stakeholder relationships. Proficiency in mainstream office, project management, and communication tools. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with an ability to communicate complex ideas clearly. Desirable Experience Experience working within or alongside public sector service delivery environments. Familiarity with enterprise architecture and large-scale change management methodologies. Experience in assessing digital maturity and aligning technology adoption with user experience and outcome-focused strategies.
