We operate a multi-million dollar fleet of specialised underground mining equipment across multiple continents and conditions. We are actively seeking competent Leading Hand Heavy Duty Fitters to join our maintenance team as significant contributors. Duties: Performing scheduled and breakdown maintenance on a large Underground Mobile Fleet, you will be working in a dynamic maintenance team to achieve the highest standards in preventative maintenance and machine reliability Mentor crews and other site personnel Identifying maintenance requirements and improvements Initiate and participate in equipment and job status handovers with Mine Supervisors and cross shift operators Provide clear leadership and standards across the maintenance department through visual leadership behaviours, clear communication to crew leaders and work teams Maintain a positive safety, quality and performance culture within the maintenance department consistent with the purpose, ambition and core values of Byrnecut Requirements: Heavy Duty Trade Qualification ( Australian recognised ) Must have or be willing to obtain Statutory Supervisor Ticket Previous Leading hand experience Experience on Sandvik Mobile Equipment preferred.
