Join a dynamic and supportive Allied Health team of 40 professionals, including a close-knit Speech Pathology team of 7. Our client is seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist – Pod Lead to bring their expertise and mentorship skills to a growing, purpose-driven organisation. As a senior Speech Pathologist, you will: Provide clinical supervision, knowledge, and updates to clinicians on changes within occupational therapy. Provide regular support and engage in professional development for junior therapists. Assist in developing and delivering induction programs for new graduates. Exercise independent professional judgment in providing novel, complex, or critical clinical services to NDIS participants across various disabilities and ages. Work towards KPIs to effectively manage clinical and caseload targets. Complete a varied caseload managing a range of NDIS participants. Manage non-clinical tasks, including letters, reports, and phone calls, ensuring timely and professional completion. Travel within the Western Sydney region, operating independently to provide assessments and therapy. Ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely service delivery in participants’ homes, schools, or clinics. Oversee and contribute to a dynamic, collaborative team, working towards shared goals. Provide high-level clinical decision-making and mentoring within the team. Build enduring relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as attending events as required. Able to follow procedure and ensure the clients’ personal preferences are adhered to. Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology and SPA accreditation Genuine desire to provide the best quality support for people with disabilities. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Confident communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families.
