Techforce are currently recruiting for experienced Electrical Supervisors who have completed their Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor training for a project with BHP. THE ROLE As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing leadership to our project or maintenance teams, whilst working on Australia’s largest mining producers’ sites alongside supporting additional Commisioning across Oil & Gas works in the Pilbara / NT. This will include: Being a champion for best practice in HSE and leading by example Mentoring of junior leaders and employees in technical and quality requirements Participate in planning of works with the Project or Shutdown Team Ensure appropriate allocation of resources to achieve planned outcomes Carry out prestart risk assessments (Take 5, JHA) and review and authorise (sign off) JHA’s Ensuring timesheets for services are completed and signed off by the client Oversee performance of external contractors and suppliers Compilation of work packs for project works Conducting regular audits on electrical activities and electrical installing works Ensuring all electrical statutory notices and certifications are completed, submitted, and recorded in accordance with legislation Monitor, record, analyse and report on performance indicators Utilise, build, and maintain a professional network to increase bid opportunities ABOUT YOU The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Relevant Trade qualification Experience in a supervisory position Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor training BHP Inducted (or willing to obtain induction) Strong technical knowledge of fixed plant mining and other industrial construction projects Experience completing CMS (Contract Management System) documentation for on-site personnel and equipment Experience in a multidisciplinary (Civil, SMP and E&I) project or shutdown environment The ability to manage and execute end to end deliverables on multiple projects Flexibility and the ability to work away as required Construction White Card A current Australian Drivers Licence Weekly Pay & competitive rates Opportunity to upskill and move in to ongoing or permanent rostered work for the right candidate.
