About the Role… APM is seeking a dedicated and motivated Apprentice Field Officer to join the team during this exciting phase of growth. This key position plays an integral role in the development, guidance, and delivery of tailored end-to-end services for apprentices and their employers. The successful candidate will provide dedicated support to apprentices, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and guidance to thrive throughout their vocational journey.es with specific needs, ensuring they receive the support necessary for success in their vocational journey. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular on-site visits to apprentice workplaces to assess progress, provide constructive feedback, and offer ongoing support and guidance. Collaborate with employers to develop and maintain individualised training plans that ensure apprentices acquire the skills and experience required for their chosen trades. Monitor apprentice performance and ensure compliance with programme requirements, addressing any concerns in a timely and effective manner. Act as a liaison between apprentices, employers, and training providers to facilitate seamless communication and coordination. Support apprentices in overcoming challenges, advocating on their behalf, and connecting them with appropriate support services when required. Promote apprenticeship opportunities to a range of stakeholders including employment service providers, community organisations, and employers. Oversee the compliance and administration processes involved in apprenticeship and traineeship sign-ups. Provide stakeholders with accurate, timely, and relevant information concerning apprenticeships and traineeships. Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of apprentice progress, site visits, and all associated interactions. Qualifications and Experience Previous experience in apprenticeship programme management or a related field is essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively through various channels and build trusting relationships with both apprentices and employers. Sound knowledge of industry regulations and standards governing apprenticeships. Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work autonomously in a field-based environment, with a willingness to travel to various work sites as required.
