Job Description The Role: Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, the ICT Program Delivery and Governance Director will be responsible for successfully leading and implementing the program objectives and deliverables while ensuring alignment and support for the Departments Digital Transformation Strategy. Key duties and responsibilities The primary responsibilities of the ICT Program Delivery and Governance Director are to: 1. Provide strategic oversight and steering the delivery of the Cloud Campus program, along with pivotal ICT initiatives and associated activities, based upon the ACT Government Digital, Data and Technology Solutions P3M Framework. The Program adheres to the Managing Successful Programs methodology (MSP). 2. Define program requirements through accurately establishing user expectations and analysing stakeholder interests 3. Ensure benefits realisation and business outcomes are achieved for each project and the program across the Department and its systems, in accordance with the outlined business case and the Departments Digital Transformation Strategy. Ensure programs and projects are integrated across Whole-of-Government systems as required. 4. Manage and control the delivery of the program. 5. Attend and report to the three Governance Board’s about the projects and program’s progress and deliverables. 6. Manage all program resources towards program deliverables. 7. Ensure the program and subordinate projects produce the required products, to the required standard of quality, and within time and budget. 8. Work alongside the Renewal team to ensure program integration and future projects. 9. Manage procurement processes in accordance with ACT Government procurement guidelines, processes, and procedures to achieve program outcomes. 10. This position involves direct supervision of staff. Location and Contract Term: This role is based in ACT. 12 month contract with extension options pending budget and delegate approval. Security Requirements : Applicants must be Australian Citizens.
