Make an Impact: As a volunteer of the SAES you'll often be found in the midst of crisis and disaster situations nationally and internationally. Whether it’s a natural disaster like a cyclone, flood, bushfire or earthquake, or an incident such as a transport accident, structure fire or missing person search, SAES volunteers meet communities at their point of need. Be a force for good: Whether it's as a Response Team on the ground providing catering services to state emergency services such as police, fire and other first responders, as well as in evacuation and recovery centres. Or as part of our Recovery Teams stepping in to provide services in support of the medium- and long-term needs of the community.
