It is an Australian-based business that provides a range of authorised financial services under the Corporations Act 2001. They are currently looking for a Financial Investment Adviser to join their team in Sydney. The primary responsibilities of the Financial Investment Adviser are: Advising on investment strategies, sources of funds and the distribution of earnings and meeting superannuation compliance requirements; Collating information of new clients, including their existing products; Communicating consistently with the Head of Advice regarding the progress of SoAs and implementation of advice for client; Conducting annual projects on Total Super Balance, contribution eligibility, pension payment review, insurance renewals along with the Head of Advice, Senior Paraplanner and Financial Advisers; Ensuring that all elements of the advice process are conducted in an ethical and compliant manner, in accordance with Crystal Wealth policy, and the law; Interviewing prospective clients to determine financial status and objectives, discussing financial options and developing financial plans and investment strategies; Liaising with super fund and insurance providers to obtain information on clients' policies and managing funds raised from personal superannuation savings policies and unit trusts and the process of implementing the advice outlined in the SoAs; Monitoring investment performance, and reviewing and revising investment plans based on modified needs and changes in markets; Preparing high quality, accurate, timely and compliant advice documentation SoAs/RoAs and proactively assisting in the management of the client review process. This can include the preparation of "reverse fact finds", contacting existing clients to update their information in Xplan and reviewing their recommended strategies and making appropriate changes; Recommending and arranging insurance cover for clients and setting financial objectives, and developing and implementing strategies for achieving the financial objectives. To be considered you will need a level of skill commensurate with a relevant Bachelor Degree and at least three years of relevant post-qualification employment experience OR at least five years of relevant employment experience in Financial Investment Adviser positions.
