We are currently seeking an experienced Landscape Gardener to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and reliable individual with a strong background in landscape gardening and horticultural practices. You will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Current Opening: This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week). Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Interpreting landscape plans and drawings to determine layout and required materials. Preparing and cultivating soil and applying fertilizers. Planting and maintaining trees, shrubs, lawns, and other vegetation. Installing irrigation systems and ensuring they are functioning correctly. Constructing and maintaining garden features such as paths, patios, decks, retaining walls, water features, and garden lighting. Operating and maintaining horticultural machinery and tools. Pruning, mulching, weeding, and pest/disease control. Consulting with clients on garden and landscape requirements. Ensuring safe work practices and compliance with local regulations. Qualifications and Skills: Certificate IV in Landscaping or a related field, or 3 years of relevant work experience At least 1 year of experience in a comparable landscape and garden maintenance position Extensive knowledge of landscape design, including practical advice and implementation of key elements Skilled in operating landscaping tools and equipment effectively Show a genuine passion for plants and gardening, paired with a strong sense of design and visual aesthetics Exceptional customer service abilities and flexibility to work autonomously or collaboratively Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $70,000 - $80,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
