It takes up to a year to fully train a Cook that is skilled in Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine to meet our business standards, and their role is essential to maintaining the highest quality in our restaurant’s menu. On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a dedicated and highly organized Cook to be part of their growing team. Duties and Responsibilities Prepares and cooks food Maintains a clean, safe, and well-organized workstation Ensures all dishes meet established quality and presentation standards Assists with food preparation and contributes ideas for daily specials Adheres to food safety, hygiene, and proper handling protocols Works efficiently and collaboratively within a team during high-demand periods Supports chefs with tasks such as stock rotation, temperature monitoring, and general kitchen responsibilities Essential Skills Experience in Turkish or Middle Eastern cuisine is an advantage A team player with strong communication skills Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively Passionate about food, with a strong attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and eager to grow within the kitchen Qualifications needed: Minimum Certificate III level or equivalent relevant work experience Minimum one year of work experience on relevant position Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $90,000; plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
