Reporting to the Group Safety Manager, within this role you'll be responsible to ensure that the workforce is provided with a supportive, safe, and purposeful place of work, maintaining wellbeing and organisational compliance with legislation. The role: Supervising on-site compliance with WHS requirements as per the policy and legislation Assist in the operational implementation of WHS Policies, Procedures and practices Advise and support operational teams across WHS matters including legislative compliance, consultation, risk management, incident management and corrective actions Provide monthly reporting on WHS compliance Conduct daily monitoring checks, on-site audits, inspections, risk management activities and annual reviews as required Facilitate Inductions and ensure new worker understanding of key risks and requirements Participate in WHS projects Participate in or lead risk assessments Participate in Safet Committee Participate in internal and external audits Ensure accurate and appropriate record keeping and management Develop and delivery WHS training across What we’re looking for: WHS Certificate IV (minimum) Experience in the development and implementation of WHS documentation Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to guide and influence behaviour to achieve WHS targets Minimum 2 years of experience in a WHS focussed role Demonstrated experience conducting Risk Management activities including risk assessments Working knowledge of WHS legislation. Quality Auditing qualification (OHS Management Systems preferred) Working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards Conducting ICAM investigations or similar (favourable) OHS Construction Induction Substantial experience using Microsoft Office products and relevant industry software and programs. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Excellent communication skills for liaising with employees, departments, and management.
