JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The General Manager – 3PL, will execute the business plan and achieve P&L results by leading, managing, and holding the team accountable for agreed upon commitments. This leader will remove obstacles and barriers, manage major projects, standardize and systematize work, and integrate all major functions of the business. The General Manager will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer to filter and translate ideas into the functional (Marketing & Sales, Operations, Finance, and all others) plans of the business. This leader will hold the entire team accountable, run the organization, manage the day-to-day issues that arise, and harmoniously integrate and optimize the major functions of the business by focusing on the six key components (People, Vision, Data, Issues, Process, Traction). This leader will develop and implement strategic initiatives to ensure efficient and competitive services that align with company objectives. Other key responsibilities include developing and refining efficient processes, KPIs, and dashboards to improve visibility and drive performance across business development and operations. Success in this role is a blend of operational excellence, strategic acumen, and strong leadership to align all functions with the organization’s overall goals.
