Description The Federal Government Leader will serve as the leader of the Canberra branch, managing the technology line of business and serving as the external face of Oracle for the public sector. This role is crucial as all clients within this sector are government-based, requiring a senior and trusted leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for elevating the profile and impact of the Canberra branch, building credibility, and providing strong, visionary leadership to a diverse team. Responsibilities Hold responsibility for driving Oracle's Federal Government business growth in Australia, developing and executing strategic plans, setting ambitious yet achievable revenue and growth targets, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful execution. Leading and managing the Canberra branch, providing clear direction and guidance to his/her direct reports and influencing the entire branch. Serving as the primary external representative of Oracle for the public sector, building and fostering strong relationships with government clients and stakeholders. Developing and executing comprehensive go-to-market strategic plans for the public sector, including federal government sales, to drive technology and cloud solution sales and market penetration. Managing and fostering the development of a high-performing sales team, providing mentorship and guidance to inspire and retain top talent, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement. Functioning as a trusted advisor to government clients, offering innovative and tailored technology solutions, and contributing to their digital transformation and strategic objectives. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment, provide strategic insights, and deliver a cohesive and exceptional customer experience. Ensuring strict adherence to security and compliance protocols, including maintaining the necessary security clearance for the role, to safeguard sensitive information and client data.
