The opportunity We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Director in the Queensland Power market to join our team in Brisbane, Australia. By building on our current successes in Victoria and New South Wales, you will lead and grow Beca’s client activities and relationships across the Queensland region by advocating for our clients to enhance and support their growth and delivery of their strategic plans. Based in Brisbane, reporting to the General Manager Energy, the role will be responsible for: Lead the strategic growth of Beca’s Power market in Queensland. Identifying opportunities to build a robust Sales pipeline and led bid engagements to grow the Queensland Power business by enhancing existing and building new market opportunities. Drive Sales activity for Beca’s comprehensive portfolio of Services including Planning & Environmental, Engineering, Project Management and Advisory. Grow Beca’s local Brisbane capability, in conjunction with the national manager, to service the Queensland Transmission and Renewable markets. Leverage existing networks to advocate and influence key stakeholders and build prospective partnerships across the market to further amplify Beca’s positioning and brand across the market. Provide governance and leadership for the delivery of projects in region. Optimise performance instilling new ways of thinking and innovation across the Power portfolio to achieve strategic and sales outcomes. About you You’ll have deep market knowledge and extensive power industry connections with a strong understanding of market dynamics. You’ll have proven ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies and have excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills. You’ll work collaboratively across the business to bring the best of our capability to the Queensland region and primarily interface with the Power market leaders and teams to align on market and capability development strategies.
