About the role: The People & Culture Advisor reports to the NSW General Manager and will work from our Western Sydney Head Office, with occasional travel to our Newcastle branch. You will be a true HR Generalist, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Branch Managers in the field. While you will be responsible for recruitment, ER and IR, and conducting disciplinary meetings, you will also be hands-on with tasks such as picking uniforms, printing employee access cards, and attending toolbox meetings. This is an all-encompassing role supporting two branches across NSW with the following tasks: Workforce planning and labour forecasting Faciliate an exceptional candidate experience through blue collar recruitment and onboarding Provide workforce reporting to managers as required Facilitate disciplinary conversation and processes ensuring best practice, compliance and legislative requirements are adhered to Any administration related to People & Culture Liaise with the Return to Work and Injury Management Officer to support the field employees through Workcover processes Willingness to travel where required and to attend toolbox meetings Ensure alignment of the vision and values of Buildsafe in relation to the development of People and Culture strategies About you: You will have a generalist HR background with a solid understanding of talent acquisition and employee relations.
