About You: Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in drill & blast roles, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership position.Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop a team, manage performance, and build a positive work culture.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.Highly developed technical skills in drill & blast design, planning, and execution, with a focus on optimization and safety, including regulatory compliance.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify improvements and implement effective solutions.Previous experience with blast design and modelling software (ShotPlus) and mine design software (Vulcan) and strong computer skills for reporting and data analysis.Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Mining or similar relevant tertiary qualification from a recognised tertiary institution, with a strong background in drill & blast engineering.High attention to detail, house-keeping and genuine pride in your area of workThe desire to make a lasting contribution at MRM and the wider Glencore group At MRM, we are ‘Territory first’ and will prioritise applications from Territorians or those ready to relocate.
