Job Description Mine Services Superintendent Ravensworth Operations Hunter Valley, NSW Ravensworth Operations comprises of Ravensworth Open Cut and the Coal Handling Preparation Plant that provides high quality coal for the export market. The operation has approval to mine over 14Mtpa, with a long life of mine. The Role An opportunity exists at our operation for a Mine Services Superintendent to join our team. As an integral member of the mining team, you provide strong leadership to drive a high-performance, safe and productive work culture, role modelling and reinforcing the behaviours that will underpin the success of our operation. Reporting to the Mine Manager, you will be primarily responsible for; Providing direction and oversight of the Mine Services team supporting the delivery of production and business targets across the operation; Identification, budgeting, planning and allocation of projects and tasks in line with company HSEC policies and legislative requirements; Water management infrastructure installation and implementation of the water management operating strategy for the complex; Project management requirements for budgeted tasks required to support operations; Working closely with all stakeholders to deliver safe outcomes for your team and cohesion between business functions; Leading a supervision team and ensuring Mine Services contractors are compliant with the Ravensworth Contractor Management System; Demonstrating flexibility to assist meeting water management requirements. About you To be successful in this role, you will have; A NSW Open Cut Examiners Practicing Certificate; Extensive knowledge of NSW Coal Mining & WH&S Statutory Obligations; Evidence to support the maintenance of competence for the Practicing Certificate; Extensive knowledge of open cut mining operations including drill & blast activities; Experience in the planning and supervision of projects and contractors; First Aid Certificate; ICAM training is desirable.
