About the role The School of Health Sciences seeks to appoint a Lecturer for our Bachelor of Biomedical Science program to be delivered on our Sydney campus. The primary responsibility is the coordination, delivery and assisting in teaching of the Biomedical Science Program on the Sydney campus. Specifically, this role will involved teaching into Immunology, Infectious Disease and /or Neuroscience subject areas. Key Responsibilities Conduct of tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshop, student field excursions, clinical sessions and studio sessions. Initiation and development of subject material. Acting as subject coordinators. Preparation and delivery of lectures and seminars. Supervision of the program of study of honours students or of postgraduate students engaged in course work. Supervision of major honours or postgraduate research projects. The conduct of research. Development of course material with appropriate advice from and support of more senior staff. Marking and assessment. Consultation with students. Qualifications, skills & experience A level B Academic Staff Member with qualifications and/or experience recognised by the institution as appropriate for the relevant discipline area. A doctoral degree or equivalent accreditation and standing appropriate to the relevant discipline area. Significant experience in tertiary education or the equivalent industry experience in the relevant discipline area. Hold specific qualifications and registrations .
