Executive Director Data, Analytics and Intelligence About the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (Commission) is the national independent regulator of Commonwealth subsidised aged care services. The Commission’s primary role is to provide end-to-end regulation of aged care services to protect and enhance the safety, health, wellbeing, and quality of life of aged care consumers. By engaging with aged care consumers and providers, the Commission aims to build trust and confidence in the quality of care and services provided to older Australians. About the Role: Reporting to the Deputy Commissioner of Sector Capability and Regulatory Strategy, the Executive Director of Data, Analytics and Intelligence will oversee the Data, Analytics and Intelligence Group. This group manages and analyzes data from the aged care sector and regulatory activities to identify risks and performance issues, thereby informing preventative and responsive regulatory actions. Key Duties: The Executive Director will collaborate with other groups within the Commission to develop insights and tailored content for the community, government, and sector. This includes providing sector performance insights and benchmarking data for providers. The role also supports the Commission’s service delivery by providing data and analytics services to prioritize and manage large volumes of information and workflow. Additionally, the group delivers data and information services to help the Commission maintain its performance as a best-practice regulator. This position is responsible for data management, governance, and strategy, including enhancing data skills and capabilities within the branch and across the Commission.
