What you’ll do: Ensure all activities are undertaken with the safety of our people as the number one priority and always role model safe behaviour. Act as the lead mechanical fitter or Electrician onsite, responsible for the ongoing maintenance and provide detailed solutions to ongoing issues and for improving asset reliability. Provide input as a subject matter expert during project upgrades. while also receiving training in Dam Safety Surveillance and other specific structure operations which will allow you the opportunity to join a weekend and on call roster. Operational maintenance tasks aligned with the preventative maintenance program. Ongoing reporting and ensuring documentation is accurate. Capture and store data for the maintenance management system and other related service systems as required. Working with the Maintenance Team Leader to achieve a high standard of work, safely and efficiently. What we are looking for: Mechanical Fitter/Welder OR Electrical Trade Certificate, ideally with industrial experience. Demonstrated experience in maintaining critical, major asset classes. The ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and hardworking culture. Willingness and ability to travel to other WaterNSW sites to assist with asset maintenance. Current NSW driver's licence. Desirables include Forklift licence, EWP above 11m licence, HR drivers’ licence, Backhoe/ front end loader experience/licence, Dogman.
