About the role MSS Security is seeking a Control Room Operator with NV1 clearance to join a prestigious government site located in Docklands. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily control room operations, managing incident responses and monitoring security systems. The position offers a Level 4 pay rate of $28.02 per hour, plus super and shift penalties where applicable Duties include but are not limited to: Monitor CCTV systems and alarms to ensure constant surveillance and early detection of any security risks. Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, escalating issues as required. Collaborate with emergency services to coordinate responses to incidents. Regularly test and maintain security systems to ensure they are fully operational. Provide clear and concise communication. Ideal candidates will have: Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent communication skills. Proven experience working in security. Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster. Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizen . Must hold a current NV1 clearance to be considered for this role. Valid Victorian Security licence with control room subcategory. Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations. Working with children check (or willing to obtain).
