Security Senior (Events)/ Relief Security Senior $39.03 per hour status (Higher Duties – Multi Hire) $31.22 per hour (Higher Duties - Relief Security Senior) Sea World, Main Beach, Gold Coast The opportunity: As the Security Senior (Events), you will adhere to all private event function policies and procedures whilst overseeing the security event team on duty. As a relief Security Senior, you may be required to lend support to both operational hours/afterhours security teams, if required. Adhering to Village Roadshow Theme Park’s security guidelines and procedures relevant to your position, including the Village Roadshow Theme Park’s Code of Conduct whilst on duty or on Village Roadshow Theme Park’s premises. Your day to day: • All duties of Security Officer • All duties of Security Senior plus additional responsibilities • Work closely with the Security Co-Ordinator’s and Security Seniors to provide input for operational procedures and assessment material relevant to private function processes • Work with the Security Supervisor, Security Co-Ordinator’s, Security Seniors and Workforce planning to ensure appropriate use of resources and skills • Liaise with operational departments for staffing levels for special events • Establish and maintain positive and efficient working relationships among security staff and operational departments • Liaise with Events Team Leaders as required to assist in management of incidents occurring throughout private events What you'll bring: • Must hold any security licenses as deemed relevant by VRTP. This can include, but not limited to: o Provide First Aid o Security Officer – Unarmed, Crowd Controller, Cash in transit & Monitoring • Demonstrated solution focuses and hard-working attitude • Training qualifications beneficial but not an essential requirement • Immunization for Hepatitis B is recommended
