About Cataby & The Role The Cataby mining operation is a large-scale surface mining and wet separation processing facility located 150 kilometres north of Perth. The ore is processed on site to produce a Heavy Mineral Concentrate that is then transferred by road to our processing operations in Narngulu and Capel for further processing. The Cataby operation is of scale, moving up to 14 million BCM of overburden and processing 10 million tonnes of ore per annum. Iluka Resources is seeking a passionate Environmental & Community Relations Superintendent to join our Cataby Mining Operation. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, managing environmental programs, and promoting sustainable practices. This position is offered on a Drive in Drive out (DIDO) basis, on a family-friendly 5/2 4/3 roster. This means no airports, delays, or weekends away from your family and friends.
