Position: AOD team leader Location: Red Hill Employment Type: Full time – ( also be available for on-call roster ) Salary – SCHADS level 6 The role: As a Team Leader you will need to lead an effective and high functioning team of multi-disciplinary staff to deliver-client centred, residential Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) services, supporting participants to make positive changes in their lives. You will also need to ensure service delivery targets and organisational standards are achieved and funding body requirements are met . Key responsibilities: Oversight the assessment, processing and admission of participants into treatment, community or residential based. Work closely with the Nurse Team Lead and the Team Lead for Central Assessments to ensure a seamless service for participants. Oversight residential AOD activities, developing strong networks and partnerships, building collaborative and professional relationships with other agencies. Continue to develop and coach direct reports, utilising quality checks as feedback and opportunities for learning and reflecting. When required, assist the Centre Manager in evaluation and research and representation of the service as required. Identify, and communicate to the Centre Manager systematic gaps in service delivery, which assists in policy development within this area. Receive and process student placement enquiries. Be a part of the on call roster. Must have : Tertiary or other qualifications within Community Services, Social Work or similar discipline Solid level of experience (minimum 2 years) in the implementation of case management, groups, and systems for AOD/or complex needs clients. Experience working in collaboration with other organisations to develop and tailor programs to meet clients’ needs. Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience.
