Sirrom Facility Management Services are currently seeking serious, driven Guest Service Attendants in our Housekeeping and Catering teams in our Kerlong mining village based in Burton, QLD. At Sirrom we are hospitality-minded, providing high quality food and accommodation services, creating a home away from home environment for our workforce village residents. Housekeepers The role consists of cleaning accommodation rooms (ensuited dongas), general housekeeping, stripping and remaking beds, general cleaning duties of ensuites, floors, walls and laundry. Kitchen Attendants The role consists of supporting our Chefs and catering team, food preparation, making fruit platters, salads and crib meals, assisting Chefs when directed, keeping high standards for food safety and hygiene, cleaning and tidying service areas, assisting with unloading deliveries, stocktakes and other ad hoc jobs in the catering team. You will need your own reliable transport (car) licence for this role. Both roles are physically demanding, working on your feet for up to 10 hours per day and it is a site requirement that you wear full PPE (mine-site) at all times. We have 14/7rosters on offer for the right candidate. You will be based within the Isaac Region - Mackay, Glenden, Moranbah, Sarina, Bowen, Nebo and surrounding areas on a drive-in/drive-out basis. The Person: Must have experience in hospitality or a similar field The ability to work in extreme remote conditions Team player and be flexible to work in all areas Ability to always follow safety policies and procedures Be physically fit and able to work 10-hour days Must have own reliable transport (car) licence for this role.
