Your new role We have an opportunity for an individual to join our Executive Team as Executive Assistant to support two executives. This is a fixed term, parental leave backfill opportunity until 31 December 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high level executive support and coordination within a complex and confidential environment and contributing to projects, reports and initiatives as required. Duties and responsibilities include: Planning, organising and coordinating the reporting executives' activities and responsibilities to ensure business objectives are achieved efficiently, to a high standard and within required timeframes. High level and confidential support to the reporting executive(s), including calendar and email management and coordinating travel arrangements (in accordance with IBAC policy) as well as various administrative support tasks as the need arises. Participation in external stakeholder forums including attendance at meetings if required. Undertaking liaison with external stakeholders including central government agencies and other State and Federal agencies. Assisting in the preparation of special reports, presentations, briefs and speeches as well as ad hoc reports and correspondence. Assisting with the implementation and management of the internal governance framework and other forums as required, including the provision of secretariat support. Please note: 'the successful candidate will be required to work non-standard hours with variable starting and finishing times on occasion. Our requirements / Your skill set: ' We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities: Strong understanding and experience of the requirements of senior executives Ability to prioritise effectively and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to communicate confidently with senior government and ministerial staff Knowledge of Public Service administration, policies and procedures Experience in report writing and proven verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
