Our Still on Track e-scooter program is designed to equip young people in the East Kimberley with technical skills and personal development to help them achieve their goals. This program is tailored to address the unique challenges in the East Kimberley, where disengagement of young people from education has led to regular interactions with the justice system. The role of the Program Coordinator will include planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating the Still on Track program, which will help to support young people to develop their skillsets and further their education or employment opportunities. Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Program Coordinator to join our team in Kununurra. In this role, you will: Lead the planning, coordination, implementation and administration of the Still on Track program, including industry visits, cultural experiences or camps, TAFE tasters and additional certifications (e.g. White Card). In partnership with staff and service providers, provide support to participants and families and ensure they have the resources to succeed in the program. Provide mentorship and share your expertise to help youth develop technical skills and confidence. Collaborate with our team to ensure all work is culturally appropriate and aligned with the program’s educational goals. Participate in creating a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters personal growth and reengagement with education or employment pathways. Maintain and track data of all program participants, including attendance and feedback relating to evaluation of the program. Requirements: Effective administration skills and a high degree of organisational ability, including the ability to manage and track project delivery Ability to work with and mentor youth from diverse backgrounds, with particular experience working with First Nations young people and their families Commitment to supporting First Nations youth and understanding of cultural sensitivities. Willingness to contribute to a program focused on community development and social impact Working With Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain) Relevant qualifications or experience in youth work, social work, community development or similar field (desirable) Benefits: Work in the beautiful and culturally rich environment of Kununurra.
