We are actively sourcing a Telecommunications Technician to join our IT Communications team within the wider Digital & Technology (D&T) team. Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will be responsible for managing St Vincent’s telecommunications systems by installing, operating, and maintaining voice and data communications services. To be successful in this role, you will have proven skills and experience in administration of voice or data infrastructure. You will maintain telecommunications systems by installing, operating, and maintaining voice and data telecommunications network circuits and equipment, and maintain structured cabling with third-party cabling providers. This position is Permanent Full Time and will be predominantly based within St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (Fitzroy), while working across our VIC Hospitals and Aged Care facilities when needed. You will also be required to take part in the after-hours on-call roster with overtime benefits to match as part of the dynamic requirements of a 24/7 healthcare environment.
