What You’ll Be Doing: As the Transport Operations, Safety & Compliance Coordinator , you'll play a pivotal role in our Domestic Transport Team — the engine room powering replenishment, new store builds, returns, and urgent transport operations. You'll act as a key liaison between Group Transport, our Distribution Centres (DCs), transport suppliers, and store teams to ensure every movement is compliant, safe, and on time. This role goes beyond day-to-day transport coordination — it's about being the connector, the problem-solver, and the compliance champion. Your key responsibilities would be: Operational Oversight: Monitor and support daily transport scheduling and supplier performance across our multi-mode network. Compliance Leadership: Ensure end-to-end Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance, audit support, and on-site safety practices. Stakeholder Management: Work closely with DC leadership, transport providers, and internal teams to manage performance, reporting, and issue resolution. Continuous Improvement: Contribute and consult on design and roll-out of innovative projects, policies, systems, and compliance tools. Training & Support: Provide coaching and insights to store and DC teams being first point of contact for critical support. What We’re Looking For: Agile and adaptable — you respond to changing conditions with speed and clarity. Administrative prowess — you're highly organised with strong attention to detail. A background in transport operations, logistics or supply chain. Strong communication skills — you're just as confident leading a supplier meeting as you are investigating a safety issue on-site. Working knowledge of WHS standards, CoR legislation, and audit practices is desirable. Why Join Super Retail Group?
