The location The award-winning Buderim Views, located in the beautiful location of Buderim on the Sunshine Coast. This home is a 120 Bed Residential Aged Care Home. AT Buderim Views you will be working with a wonderful team of clinical staff and management who pride themselves on an inclusive work culture. AS an Assistant in Nursing, you will provide person centred assistance to our residents ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices. These include: Assistance with residence mobility needs, including manual handling. Assistance at mealtimes as required by the resident such as food and drink preparation and feeding if required. Encouraging to engage in various social activities Assistance with their personal care needs, maintaining hygiene, toileting and personal care such as dressing, grooming and oral care. To be successful in this role we require you to have the following skills experience & attributes Cert III Aged Care Experience in aged care role or completed a placement in Aged Care Understanding of person-centred care Strong, clear verbal and written English skills Collaborative approach to teamwork Willingness to take direction and follow instructions / compliance A Confident, friendly and professional approach to team and residents Mandatory for compliance Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc) Be willing to obtain a National Police Check Current Flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain before you start) Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations in line with current requirements Our benefits: Generous salary packaging and not-for-profit tax benefits – claim up to $15,900 tax free plus additional $2650 in entertainment per year An Employee Assistance Program for staff and family Career progression and leadership development opportunities via continuous internal training opportunities.
