Pro AV Solutions has an exciting opportunity available in our NSW branch to join our Service Team as an Onsite AV Service Technician. This position is based with a key customer in Sydney’s CBD and is ideal for a technically skilled and customer-focused individual. About the Role This position combines hands-on AV technical support with excellent client service. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless AV experience by maintaining and troubleshooting onsite AV systems, assisting users, and providing high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-line support for AV systems including video conferencing, digital signage, audio systems, control systems, and displays Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime Maintain and monitor AV equipment to ensure optimal performance Support meeting setups, live events, and conference calls as required Deliver a friendly and professional service experience for all onsite users Liaise with internal teams and external vendors for escalated issues Contribute to ongoing improvements in AV service delivery Key Experience & Capabilities: Proven experience in AV installation, support, or maintenance Familiarity with major AV platforms and tools (e.g. Crestron, Extron, Zoom, Teams, Cisco Webex) Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, hands-on approach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently in a customer environment Relevant certifications (e.g. CTS, Crestron, or Extron) are a plus Excellent time management and organisational skills. Positive and motivated attitude. Diploma level TAFE course similar or equivalent to Cert IV in Information Technology (Networking) or 3 years IT work experience.
