Full time, 24 months fixed term contract Be valued for your technical design knowledge within a collaborative team environment Base Salary $86K 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Learning Designer Graduate takes a learner-centred approach and contributes to projects that design, build, test, implement and evaluate educational experience that enhance the student experience. The successful applicant will draw on their recently acquired user experience knowledge and skills to contribute to the ongoing innovation of learning experiences and services. This position assists other designers to design and deliver solutions that facilitate the sustainable and scalable delivery of skill development and student experience programs. The Learning Designer Graduate will be a recent graduate of an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in educational design, e-learning, design computing or user experience design. About you demonstrated capability to work with others to reach common goals, sharing information, supporting and building positive and constructive relationships strong problem solving and adaptability skills displaying independent judgement, initiative, and creativity that can be applied successfully in a collaborative team-based work environment sound organisational and analytical skills along with excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills demonstrated ability to successfully manage a busy workload and achieve agreed outcomes, with the ability to initiate projects and opportunities that have the potential to improve outcomes and performance of the work area demonstrated ability to maintain skills, knowledge and experience to innovate practices, processes and/or procedures at work the ability to work independently and understand and respond to changing priorities and trends in the Library and University environments demonstrated coding skills, with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript experience preferred. proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Premier, InDesign) to create graphics, edit videos and design wireframes Work Rights: you must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
