By helping carers access tailored vocational support, we aim to improve financial security, reduce social isolation, and build confidence and self-esteem. About the Role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Vocational Placement Coordinator to engage and manage key partnerships that support the program to achieve operational excellence. As part of the Carer Gateway leadership team, this role plays a key part in establishing and maintaining referral pathways and placements. Your role will directly contribute to the programs impact on the community and bring meaningful change in carers' lives. In the initial phase you’ll focus on implementation, ensuring referral pathways and partnerships are ready for service commencement. Once launched your focus will shift to strengthening these partnerships, coordinating placements and supporting program growth. Key Responsibilities Be the go-to support for Placement Officers, offering expert guidance, resolving challenges and leading impactful feedback and supervision sessions for the Vocational Navigation Team. Champion a welcoming and empowering environment for carers by embedding Wellways values and ensuring every interaction is practical, flexible, inclusive, and carer-centred. Collaborate closely with the Vocational Pathway Navigation Lead to deliver on service goals, achieve budgets and ensure meaningful, high-quality outcomes. Lead the way in shaping carer-inclusive workplaces by co-creating innovative resources and campaigns, building strategic partnerships, and unlocking training and employment opportunities for carers. About You You are great at building strong relationships with a good understanding of community engagement, partnership development and inclusive practice. You bring leadership experience in vocational programs, employment services or community development and have a track record of creating pathways for people from diverse backgrounds. Your approach is collaborative, values-driven and outcomes-focused. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are excited to shape a new initiative that puts carers at the centre. To be successful in this role, you will need: Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field of study and/or equivalent experience.
