About the Role We are currently seeking a hands-on Warehouse Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy warehouse. This is a dynamic and fulfilling part-time role (30.4 hours per week), where you’ll contribute directly to programs that make a real difference. As the Warehouse Coordinator, you will oversee the collection, receiving, sorting, storage, and distribution of donated goods. You will also support a team of volunteers and drive our vehicles to assist other Salvos programs when required. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily warehouse activities including collection, inventory, and distribution of stock Ensure donated goods meet TSA and Greater West Salvos’ quality standards Coordinate warehouse safety, equipment maintenance, and waste/recycling processes Provide daily supervision, training, and support to a team of volunteers Drive GWS vehicles to deliver or collect goods across various sites Sound knowledge of safe manual handling and furniture logistics Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation Actively contribute to a safe and positive team culture About You Experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in a coordinator role Sound knowledge of safe manual handling and furniture logistics Sound people skills – you enjoy working with and supporting volunteers Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Comfortable using basic computer systems for stock control Experience in retail, customer service, or community services (Preffered) Current Driver’s Licence (required) Commitment to the values and mission of The Salvation Army What we offer As a registered NFP we offer our eligible employees real and meaningful benefits such as; Flexible working conditions Financial discounts / benefits Purpose driven career which has positive social and sustainable outcomes Employee Assistance Program - Independent confidential counselling service.
