About the Role Joining a highly supportive team you will report to the Finance Manager – Merchandise and be responsible for providing commercial support, analysis and insights to the General Manager - Building, Merchandise Managers, and wider team in the Bunnings business unit. You will engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements, whilst providing financial expertise including preparing high quality, accurate and timely reports, and financial modelling for key initiatives and Business Cases. This is a 12-month fixed term contract based at the National Support Office, Burnley. You will additionally: Prepare and deliver timely and insightful analysis that drives decision making Prepare financial models for growth strategies, business cases, trials and concepts and ensure reporting is in place to measure the progress and success Contribute to the delivery of annual budgets and monthly forecasts Support the end of month process and help to drive process improvements in reporting, manual tasks, and ways of working Prepare regular post investment appraisal reviews, including Range Review performance, and collaborating with the Merchandise team to deliver recommendations About You A passionate and experienced finance professional, you bring strong expertise in accounting and budgeting principles. You have a proven track record of partnering effectively with a wide range of senior stakeholders across the business and thrive in high-pressure environments. Known for your customer-focused and results-driven approach, you are a collaborative team player with exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills—both written and verbal. You will additionally have: Degree qualification in commerce/business with majors in accounting/finance Ideally you have completed or are close to completing your CPA/CA Recent practical experience working in a finance or accounting function Previous experience in the retail industry would be advantageous Experience working with competing priorities and working with large sets of data You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.
