About the Role As a teacher delivering in the Accounting Programs, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students both on campus and out in industry. You will be expected to develop and deliver engaging and innovative learning materials, assess student performance, and provide feedback and support to ensure student success. An example of duties you will perform include: Planning, preparing and delivering of the lesson plan and assessment of student performance and learning activities in accordance with the departments assessment tools Fostering a working environment that is respectful to all students and staff Establishing and maintaining a positive learning environment Monitoring student progression and attendance throughout their learning journey Contributing to the continuous improvement for the course by being involved with the design, development and validation of its training and assessment resources. Maintaining accurate course and student records according to organisational and regulatory requirements Sessional teaching roles available for Term 3 and 4 2025 in the following courses: FNS40222 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and FNS50222 Diploma of Accounting About You To be successful in this role, you will need: Must have a completed TAE40122 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or TAE40110 with required upskill units TAEASS502 and TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A Hold a relevant vocational/industry qualification at the level of the courses or above and have teaching experience either in a TAFE or an RTO You must hold a valid E Class (employee) Working with Children Check to be able to undertake this role or be willing to obtain one. Your excellent communication skills will be a key asset, along with your willingness to continually learn and develop as a professional trainer and assessor.
